LES BARTAVELLES - NEAR SAINT RÉMY DE PROVENCE - LUBERON - PROVENCE - FRANCE
In the heart of our luminous Provence, at the foot of the Luberon, nestles the village of Les Taillades. The old village, clutching the foothills of the mountain is a classed site. The Domaine des Bartavelles is in this land blessed by the Gods, in the heart of the narratives of Jean Giono, Alphonse Daudet and Marcel Pagnol.Situated on green, tree-filled grounds of 2 hectares, the 18th century mas has been entirely renovated. The property is set out with three independent buildings : the Maison de Maitre, the Bastide and the Mas.
All three are spacious, with unimpeded view and shaded terraces. The decoration is inspired by typically Provencal traditions : stone, wrought iron and beamed ceilings. The amenities of each building are changeable and can accommodate 4, 6 or 10 people, 20 people in total.
In the garden you can breath in the scents of the typically Provencal plants The sycamores and parasol pines provide cool and welcome shade from the ardent rays of the sun. You will find a 6x12m heated swimming pool with saltwater filter, furnished with lounge chairs and parasols. It's the promise of a calm and relaxing vacation.
MAISON DE MAÎTRE:
With southern exposure, the Maison de Maitre has 280 m2 of living space, 3 terraces totaling 150 m2 as well as a 8000 m2 garden and independent parking. On the ground floor the 80 m2 living room is furnished with particular care (satellite television 16x9, telephone access to the Internet by ADSL connection). The Provençal kitchen (40 m2) has the most modern of equipment (a Lacanche cooker, American refrigerator, large convivial dining table, ...).
Upstairs, 4 rooms with views of the park :
- 2 Master bedrooms, very spacious (50 m2 each), and with access to the mezzanine by an authentic wrought iron staircase, have 2 beds (80x200cm) electronically controlled. They have bathrooms with a bathtub, shower, double sink and toilet.
- 2 double rooms each with each 2 bed of 90x200cm ; a solid wooden staircase leads up to mezzanine. Each has a shower & washbasin.
LA BASTIDE:
With western exposure, the Bastide is a former sheep barn, entirely renovated, with 100 m2 of living space. It has a 8 x 4 m terrace and private parking. The building is spacious ; it has a carefully furnished and decorated lounge (with satellite television) and an equipped Provencal kitchen.
The three rooms overlook the park. They have, respectively :
- 2 double beds (80 x 200 cm) electronically controlled,
- 2 double beds (90 x 200 cm) and bathroom with bathtub, washbasin and separate toilet.
- 1 double bed 140 x 200 cm and bathroom with shower and small washbasin...
LE MAS:
With eastern exposure, the Mas is a former sheep barn, entirely renovated, with 80 m2 of living space. It has a terrace and private parking.
The building is spacious ; it has a carefully furnished and decorated lounge (with satellite television) and an entirely equipped Provencal kitchen.
The 2 rooms overlook the park. They have, respectively :
- 1 bed (160 x 200 cm) electronically controlled,
- 3 beds (90 x 200 cm) and
- shower, washbasin and separate toilet.
